Job Summary
The Team Leader Supply Chain provides leadership and supervision of a team. Managing day to day decisions will include specific system project and/or department/company-wide initiative support.
Prioritizes work and provides work direction to the team, and is responsible for attaining process efficiencies and managing risk. Takes the lead in training, mentoring and developing team.
Work with other Team Leaders and Sourcing Managers and other business units to prioritize work across the teams and manage resources.
Job Responsibilities
Specific areas of focus will include:
Leading a workgroup to develop and deliver system/process support across the department – including day to day SAP & related modules/Taulia/Concur/Woods Makenzie/other system support and materials data management. Provides departmental governance and oversight, including internal programs such as internal QA, data requests, records management, policy/procedure maintenance, SOX support, and training. Leads special project work, as needed and performs data analysis & maintenance, departmental reporting & visualization.
Essential functions will include:
- Ensures the workgroup is consistent and in alignment of supply chain strategy with operational need
- Demonstrates market knowledge, perspectives and benchmarks and how they affect commodities within portfolio. Participate in collaborative planning of commodities and services
- Identify, review, suggest, and implement potential savings/discount opportunities
- Identify and drive process improvement, standardization, and demand management opportunities
- Provide and execute a customized sourcing strategy, process, and infrastructure for each initiative
- Manage cross-functional supply chain teams
- Develop and execute communication strategies related to supply chain initiatives and approve and assist in developing negotiation/payment strategies for initiatives within team
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business
- A minimum of three to five years of broad based supply chain, business, data analytics/management, accounts payable or relevant experience in a corporate environment
- Exposure to SAP (or other ERP systems) and other system maintenance and data analysis
- Experience training, coaching and mentoring others required
- Proven track record in managing an ERP system for sourcing/payment purposes
- Excellent relationship skills, outstanding oral and written communication skills

Pay Range Minimum: $101,743.46
Pay Range Maximum: $152,615.06
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
