Manager Sales and Revenue Forecasting
WBS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Manager Sales and Revenue Forecasting in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This position currently offers flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) with time regularly spent in the Milwaukee office.

Job Summary
The Sales and Revenue Forecasting Manager is responsible for functional oversight of the day-to-day operations of the long-term sales and revenue forecasting group, including load research and analysis which have a significant impact on rate recovery and long-term resource planning. This role is responsible for selecting, coaching, and developing employees and implements and supports company programs and policies.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage delivery of customer energy and demand forecasts for use in regulatory filings, resource planning, Company business planning, and daily system operations.
- Manage the team responsible for development and maintenance of models and systems used to forecast sales and revenue generated by the Company’s electric, natural gas, and steam customers.
- Manage load research and analysis efforts including the processing of customer class loads for regulatory filings.
- Exhibit high-quality written and verbal skills and ability to summarize key drivers, changes and risks to audiences including senior management, major stakeholders and experience consultants in rate case activity and resource planning.
- Develop and present expert witness testimony and exhibits in support of regulatory filings. Provide support through data request responses and adequate oversight and review of all regulatory materials to ensure accuracy.
- Provide formal and ad hoc presentations and information to senior management that are efficient and helpful to address significant issues, trends and strategic actions.
- Show technical aptitude in forecasting, with leadership, critical thinking and communication to deliver a load forecast in a timely and accurate manner. Interpret technical jargon and translate it into simple, understandable terms with good insight to put highly technical issues into transparent terms that senior management can use to make sound decisions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy of data and validity of information used to drive major company initiatives such as budgeting and rate making.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Engineering, Finance or a related field.
- 7+ years of relevant utility experience.
- Demonstrated quantitative modeling and economic or financial analysis experience, including exposure to forecasting software, techniques or education.
- Understanding of utility economics including the relationship between demographic and economic factors and sales.
- Ability to write, review, and direct the writing of testimony to support regulatory filings.
- Ability to lead projects and initiatives to improve and streamline processes.
- Possess highly developed communication skills; ability to write clearly and concisely, make presentations before senior management and external bodies, ability to discuss ideas and be persuasive, and be able to work effectively with all levels within the company.
- Ability to communicate calmly while under pressure.
- Self-imposes standards of excellence and has the ability to achieve desired results by assuming responsibility and accountability.
- Ability to grasp concepts, analyze technical information, determine facts, be sensitive to underlying issues, and make thoughtful recommendations/decisions.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly with Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Engineering, Finance, Law, or a related field.

Pay Range Minimum: $119,696.20
Pay Range Maximum: $179,544.04
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
