IT Infrastructure Administrator

Job Summary

The Infrastructure Administration Team is responsible in supporting and maintaining automated batch job scheduling, backup systems, and IT monitoring systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Support and upgrade infrastructure applications i.e. backup, monitoring, and job scheduling application
• Be able to troubleshoot/problem solve application issues
• Plans, designs, and engineers various device and system configurations utilizing prescribed methods.  Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced IT Infrastructure Consultant or other senior staff.
• Implements, operates and supports various devices and systems utilizing prescribed methods.  Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced IT Infrastructure Consultant or other senior staff.
• Performs routine systems work requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.
• Develops working knowledge of systems, equipment, and supporting applications, and how they support the business.
• Maintains key performance and process metrics to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of processes, procedures, and systems, generally under the direction of senior staff.
• Work assignments may include 24x7 coverage.
• Required to carry a phone for emergency response.

This position is part of a job family (Associate IT Infrastructure Consultant/IT Infrastructure Consultant/Senior IT Infrastructure Consultant). Experience will be the determining factor.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree 
• Relevant IT experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related technical degree
• Autosys Administration
• LogicMonitor monitoring platform administration
• BigPanda event correlation management
• Dell Data Domain backup infrastructure administration
