IT GRC Administrator

WBS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a IT GRC Administrator (IT Infrastructure Consultant) in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This position offers flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) with time spent in the Milwaukee office.
 
This is a job family (IT Infrastructure Consultant and Senior IT Infrastructure Consultant) posting where the experience of the selected candidate will determine the level offered.

Job Summary

 

The security risk management position will focus on supporting security governance, risk and compliance (GRC) management activities such as information technology (IT) security, operational technology (OT) security and physical security risk assessment, vendor security risk assessments, mitigation/remediation governance, and administer security risk and governance platforms.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Knowledgeable of applications, programs and procedures used for IT/OT cybersecurity and physical security and applies that technical knowledge and general business acumen to conceive of durable GRC solutions aligned with security strategy, while meeting immediate business needs.
  • Identify business related security risks and support requirements to inform leadership in developing strategic plans and project management requirements.
  • Supports leadership through governance risk and compliance metrics, measures and reports.
  • Acts as a liaison to all stakeholders to track educate, align and advise on the risk associated with enterprise security (IT/OT/physical) and components.
  • Utilizes working technical knowledge of systems, equipment, and supporting applications to support the business and enterprise as a whole.
  • Maintains key performance and process metrics to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of processes, procedures, and systems.
  • Effectively uses various forms of communication to successfully perform job duties.
  • Builds productive working relationships internally and externally. Works with clients to gain familiarity with business processes and how technology acts as an enabler to those processes.
  • May require travel to other locations.

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
    2+ years of relevant governance, compliance or risk management experience


This position requires unescorted access to certain critical cyber assets which would require applicants to satisfy all Company and NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection Standard 004 security requirements, which includes a background investigation.

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or a related discipline.
  • Experience administering security governance, risk and compliance solutions 
  • Strong knowledge of current and emerging cybersecurity risks, and innovative risk management methods
  • Prior experience with security policy, standards, and controls definition
  • Experience with creating and modifying workflow automation
  • Ability to engage stakeholders across business areas and functions
  • Experience with information technology security, operational technology security and physical security operational metrics

End Date: 08/27/2025 

 

Pay Range Minimum:  $76,932.70 

Pay Range Maximum:  $132,708.94 

 

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs.  At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
