Human Resources Business Partner

WEC Business Services LLC, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a HR Business Partner in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location.

Job Responsibilities

The HR Business Partner builds and sustains strategic relationships with business unit clients/executives and other key stakeholders, has understanding of collective bargaining agreements, integrated HR service delivery, and effective employee relations. Frequently partners with business unit leadership/executive on effectively managing the delivery and operational effectiveness of human resource solutions; determining talent/workforce analysis, organizational development, succession planning, employee relations/investigations, and increasing organizational effectiveness. The HR Business Partner assists the organization by:

•    Supporting the effective negotiation and administration of collective bargaining agreements with local union(s)
•    Interpreting labor contract provisions, past practices to support the day-to-day activities of the business units
•    Making recommendations to current policies to ensure compliance with labor laws and labor contracts

The HR Consultant is part of a job family. The selected candidate's experience will be the determining factor in level offered.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
• 3+ years of General Human Resources experience with a depth of knowledge in: Employee Relations, Labor Relations, HR management, Talent Management, Learning and Development, Compensation & Benefits.
• 3+ years of administering employment laws, practices, and policies
• 3+ year consulting & providing strategic direction to all leadership levels from Executive to Front Line Supervisors (e.g. diagnosing issues, identifying solutions, & developing & implementing strategies.)
• 3+ years of experience coaching and advising leaders on employee development and discipline

Preferred Requirements

  • Preferred HR Internship Experience
