Manager Customer Service

WPS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Manager Customer Service. This position will have responsibilities for WPS and We Energies in the North Central Region and can be located at one of the following locations: Coleman, WI, Iron Mountain, MI, or Rhinelander, WI location. This position requires travel to various locations in the North Central Region on a regular basis.

Job Summary

 

The Manager Customer Services is responsible for all aspects of customer service for Field Operations. They are responsible for leading a team dedicated to providing a high level of proactive service to Wisconsin Public Service and We Energies customers. This team can be made of Customer Service Supervisors, Field Services Supervisors, Service Managers, Energy Service Consultants, Customer Service Consultants, Designers, Gas Sales Representatives, Clerks, and other customer service employees. 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Provide coaching, counseling, discipline, training and development to their team
  • Provide strategic leadership to establish and maintain relationships with customers including builders, developers and communities
  • Lead the various customer service initiatives within the area
  • Direct process change associated with improving customer satisfaction
  • Lead area efforts to investigate and correct electric reliability problems whether identified by central programs, area analysis, or with customer outage complaints
  • Investigate and respond to Public Service Commision requests and complaints
  • Work with and support the Area Manager by performing a lead role in storm restoration efforts (24/7 coverage required for storms; One would be expected to cover a portion of the schedule including overnight shifts at times)

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business or related field is desired. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role in customer service and/or electric/gas distribution is required.
  • 3 years of experience in a leadership role
  • 5 years of related business, operations, management and customer contact experience
  • Valid drivers License

Pay Range Minimum:  $117,004.94 

Pay Range Maximum:  $175,507.54 

 

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs.  At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
