Student - Outdoor Maintenance
Wisconsin Public Service a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group is currently recruiting for Summer Students at our office in Kaukauna, WI. These are full-time summer positions beginning in May or June.
Starting pay: $18.27
Job Summary
Student Laborers perform duties (i.e. Indoor Cleaning & Maintenance, Outdoor Maintenance, etc.) as assigned by the department. Student laborers work may be performed in the power plants, hydro plants, service center, warehouse, and other field locations.
Job Responsibilities
- Indoor Cleaning & Maintenance (e.g. dusting, sweeping, painting, equipment/facility cleaning & maintenance, unloading & loading warehouse products, garbage removal, general cleaning, etc.)
- Outdoor Maintenance (e.g., painting, basic landscaping, etc.)
- All other laborer duties (e.g. assist maintenance mechanics and instrument electricians, running equipment to field locations, bobcat/forklift functions, errands, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School diploma, GED, or HSED.
- Enrolled as a part-time/full-time student pursuing a technical, associate, bachelor, or master degree.
- A valid driver’s license.

Minimum Posting Range: $18.27
Maximum Posting Range: $20.37
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
