Specialist III

WPS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Specialist I/II/III in our Green Bay, Wisconsin location. A hybrid work arrangement (remote/in office) may be available for this position.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop/provide/assist with Designer, Clerk, NSI and Customer Service Consultant training. This position will have a primary focus on Clerk, NSI and Customer Service Consultant Training. 
  • Develop/provide/assist with WMIS Work Management and DDS Design Tool training.
  • Execute WMIS and DDS Design Tool systems testing as required.
  • Providing business support/expertise/direction regarding work management processes. Create process documentation and training material.
  • Analyze performance management metrics to identify improvement opportunities, provide project management skills to planned activities.
  • Perform trouble shooting for user identified issues in WMIS and DDS Design Tool systems.
  • Provide systems expertise as required in support of internal audit inquiries. 
  • Provide lean process, performance, and systems design consulting support towards roll-out of WMIS and DDS Design Tool systems enhancements for Electric and Gas Field Operations, and Customer Service use.
  • Provide outage restoration process support by performing the safety dispatch role during storm events.
  • Participate in staffing the DMC Group help desk during business hours to support customer needs. 

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years’ of related experience will be considered.
  • Valid Drivers License.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skill. 
  • Skills and ability to provide effective formal management presentations of strategic and operational business issues. 
  • Strong analytical and computer skills and ability to identify creative solutions to complex and abstract issues.

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Strong interpersonal and training skills. Experience in Electric and/or Gas Field Operations.
  • Knowledge of Designer, Clerk, NSI and Customer Service Consultant job duties.
  • Project management, process improvement, and system implementation testing experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify creative solutions to complex and abstract issues.

Pay Range Minimum:  $66,898.00 

Pay Range Maximum:  $132,708.94 

 

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs.  At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
