WPS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Building Services Mechanic 2 or higher in our Green Bay, Wisconsin location.

Job Summary
The Building Services Mechanic 2 position assists in ensuring efficient operation and maintenance of buildings and related facilities by installing and maintaining electrical, communications, computer, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and plumbing systems; and performing remodeling and construction work.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in installing and maintaining electrical systems in buildings including:
- perform single-phase electrical work
- complete necessary wiring according to code on a small scale (e.g. switches, receptacles, lights)
- test and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures on a small scale
- replace electric lights and fixture parts
- install new lighting fixtures
- provide coaxial cabling and electrical requirements for computerized systems
- test and maintain electrical emergency circuitry and generator
Assist in installing and maintaining air conditioning, heating, and ventilating and humidification systems in buildings:
- perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment and related parts
- analyze and interpret computerized readouts including manual records and check points of building functions
- install and maintain pneumatic temperature control systems, air compressors, and air dryer systems
- maintain fire alarm system in buildings
Assist in performing necessary work on plumbing systems including, but not limited to, pumps, water coolers, flush systems and water heaters:
- install equipment
- repair and maintain existing equipment.
Assist in remodeling and new construction work:
- determine electrical layout, location of equipment, and equipment circuitry
- install equipment following specifications
Provide relief for other positions as required and work without assistance in job areas where sufficient knowledge and training are present:
- attend company sponsored classes
- keep abreast of current heating, ventilating, air conditioning and plumbing code revisions
- obtain necessary training to learn duties of positions within progression
- obtain training for asbestos awareness and possibly asbestos maintenance
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED/HSED with some electrical and mechanical course work or equivalent.
- 1 1/2 years experience including electrical systems, HVAC systems and plumbing systems in buildings and facilities or equivalent formal training in buildings and facilities.
- Valid Drivers License.

Minimum Posting Range: $36.69
Maximum Posting Range: $43.39
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
