Student - Clerical
We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Student - Clerical (Summer Vacation Relief Employee) in our Claims Department in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This position is represented by Local No. 2150.
This is a full-time summer positions beginning in May or June.
Candidates must be available to work full-time during the summer. Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm - these hours are flexible.
Job Responsibilities
- Assistance with general clerical office support duties.
- Data Entry
- Requesting Police Reports.
- Managing Claims Inbox
- Reviewing Payment Plans
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid Driver’s License
- High School diploma, GED, or HSED
- Enrolled as a part-time/full-time student pursuing a Technical, Associate, Bachelor, or Master's Degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong computer skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to multitask and ask the right questions
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Accounting, and Legal Studies

Minimum Posting Range: $20.75
Maximum Posting Range: $21.80
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
