Fleet Technician (So.-No Grp.#)
We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Fleet Technician (So.-No Grp.#) in our Milwaukee, WI location.
Job Responsibilities
This position is 2nd shift. The hours are 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm. This is a minimum of one (1) for the following locations:
North Service Center
Port Washington Service Center
minimum of zero (0) for the following locations:
Burlington Service Center, Metro North Service Center, Delafield Service Center, Fort Atkinson Service Center, Menomonee Falls Service Center, Oakbrook Service Center, Racine Service Center, West Allis Operations Center, West Bend Service Center, Pewaukee Central Store

The Fleet Technician (So.-No Grp. #) performs the following duties:
- Maintains, repairs, and services vehicles and equipment that are essential to other work groups to ensure that they are safe, functional, and available when needed and in accordance with DOT regulations
- Performing troubleshooting and diagnosing current or potential vehicle and equipment malfunctions
- Temporary or permanent repairs and component rebuilding on trucks, construction, automotive and auxiliary equipment
- Preventative maintenance
- Miscellaneous duties as required or assigned
Minimum Experience Required
- Applicant must have a minimum of two years’ experience as an automotive or truck mechanic within the past four years
- Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and meet the company’s requirements for driving.
- The selected applicant must obtain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) within 90 days of entry into the job.
- The applicant must comply with DOT commercial driver’s license (CDL) drug and alcohol testing requirements.

Minimum Posting Range: $31.66
Maximum Posting Range: $52.76
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
