Field Services Representative

We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Field Services Representative in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This position is represented by We Energies L2150 Union.

Job Responsibilities

 

 

The Field Services Representative performs the following duties:

 

  • Routine gas and electric meter exchanges
  • Disconnect and reconnect of electric meters
  • Meter reading functions (i.e., routes, special reads, and safety audits).
  • Maintenance on automated meter reading system
  • Investigate high/low or no consumption meter orders and possible interchange of meters at a premise (gas/electric)

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and meet the company’s requirements for driving

Testing Requirements

 

 

Electrical Aptitude Test (EAPT): A test to measure aptitude in mathematics, electrical concepts, process flow, signal flow, and electrical schematics & sequences. Suggested Preparation: Review of basic electrical concepts such as current flow, basic schematic drawings and diagrams, and electrical connections.

 

Construction and Skilled Trades (CAST) - Other level: Comprehension of pictured mechanical principles such as gears, levers, pulley systems, water flow, etc.; arithmetic skills in calculating distances shown in prints and drawings; and the ability to read and understand written material. Suggested Preparation: Review of basic arithmetic skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, decimals, fractions, etc., and review basic mechanical principals.

 

Field Services Structured Interview (FIELDREP): Competencies include: Safety Awareness; Managing Work; Building Customer Loyalty; Applied Learning; Quality Orientation; Stress Tolerance.

Minimum Posting Range:  $23.04 

Maximum Posting Range:  $38.42 

 

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs.  At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
