Field Services Representative
We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Field Services Representative in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This position is represented by Local 2150.
Job Responsibilities
The Field Services Representative performs the following duties:
- Routine electric meter changes
- Disconnection and reconnect electric meters
- Disconnection of gas meters
- Responding to failed Remote Service Switch signals in the field
- Posting notice of disconnection at customer property
- Meter reading functions (i.e., routes, special reads, and safety audits).
- Maintenance on automated meter reading system
Special Field Investigations:
- Revenue Protection, demolition checks, Fall Audit, 3001’s
- Medical alerts, obtain Positive ID, Positive ID site visits, special and final reads
- Check for electrical hazards, stolen meters, special investigations, install Fort Knox locks
- Investigate high/low or no consumption meter orders and possible interchange of meters at a premise (gas/electric).
Miscellaneous:
- Analyze and prioritize daily work
- Daily work reports (pre-job briefing)
- Stock equipment in trucks (daily)
Minimum Qualifications
- Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and meet the company’s requirements for driving
Testing requirements
Electrical Aptitude Test (EAPT): A test to measure aptitude in mathematics, electical concepts, process flow, signal flow, and electrical schematics & sequences.
Construction and Skilled Trades (CAST) - Other level: Comprehension of pictured mechanical principles such as gears, levers, pulley systems, water flow, etc.; arithmetic skills in calculating distances shown in prints and drawings; and the ability to read and understand written material.
Field Services Structured Interview (FIELDREP): Competencies include: Safety Awareness; Managing Work; Building Customer Loyalty; Applied Learning; Quality Orientation; Stress Tolerance.

Minimum Posting Range: $23.04
Maximum Posting Range: $38.42
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
