Job Summary

Responsible for supervising employees and contractors for the execution of all paving and restoration required for Peoples Gas maintenance and construction work. This includes supervising all activities related to the restoration work,ensuring work is completed per specifications. Will be responsible for problem and complaint resolution withcustomers, CDOT, and public officials.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise the execution of all paving and restoration work in a geographic region, phase or project. This includesoversight of contractors, ensuring contractor work is completed per contract and CDOT specifications; qualityassurance, complaint resolution, and assisting in verification of citations, MOU's/Conflict or any other requirementsassociated with restoration activities. Will assist in the scheduling, activity tracking and validating of reportedquantities from contractors. Will assure representation of restoration group with construction progress meetings.
  • Supervise team of paving and restoration field inspectors, including assigning daily tasks, coaching, mentoring,training and problem resolution. Will provide guidance and support on all restoration activities and implementchange management, monitoring of performance metrics to ensure meeting business objectives and utilizing bestpractices. Will be technical resource, including assisting interpretation and implementation of CDOT specifications.Lead and implement Paving and Restoration strategy in a manner consistent with corporate values and beliefs.Champion and model Peoples Gas' Vision, Mission, Values, Safety Culture and Expectations.
  • Collaboratively work with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, contractors, CDOT, and publicofficials to represent the Company in trouble shooting and problem resolution.
    Ensure customer satisfaction goals are met.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma,HSED, or GED
  • 1+ years' working with and understanding related codes (Title 49 CFR 192, IL Admin Rules, etc.).
  • 1+ years' Gas Operations experience.
  • 2+ years' working with and understanding Chicago and Illinois Department of Transportation specifications.
  • 3+ years' standard computer applications experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • 3+ years' formal or informal leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Advances Knowledge of Chicago Department of transportation regulations related to restoration activites

Pay Range Minimum:  $90,507.56 

Pay Range Maximum:  $147,074.72 

 

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs.  At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
