Job Summary
Responsible for consistent, efficient, and effective operation of facilities to meet business partner’s needs. Assists Office Services Supervisor with planning and budgeting of maintenance, capital improvements and operation of facilities. Responsible and accountable for managing office maintenance and capital improvement projects. Areas of responsibility include project planning, execution, control, and close out. Directs a diverse group of project team members including union and non-union, consultants and contractors to meet all project objectives in the most efficient and effective manner. Requires ability to influence team members without positional authority.
Provides daily work direction to team members / co-workers while performing own job; may contribute to planning, work scheduling, and minor decision-making regarding work methods. May provide feedback on team member/co-worker performance to immediate supervisor.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage Class B & C office projects using Corporate Project Management tools and fundamentals. (ie: project integration, scope, time management, cost, quality , human resource management, communications, risk and procurement)
- Responsible for complying with legal requirements, construction management and financial accountability. Assist Project Managers on large Class A or Class B projects
- Manage corrective and preventative maintenance process and determines and fulfills needs for Integrys facilities using internal and external resources. Provides local daily direction to union employees and contractors. Ensures business area operates at commercially competitive levels through use of Supply Chain bid process. Responsible for financial accountability and budget input for business areas
- Provide input to and maintain corporate facility standards. Facilitate the completion of regular office assessments
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of project management experience with field or office projects
- 3+ years of experience managing a bidding process, which includes construction contracts and commercial terms, status reporting, procurement practices, industry standards, industrial business, and construction safety
- 3+ years of facilities or field operations experience
- 3+ years of Informal Leadership
- Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Area of study, Facilities Management
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years directly related experience or
- Directly Related Experience includes: Paving and restoration, utility construction, field Operations, construction/project management, contractor management, or municipal/public right-of-way construction.
- Working knowledge of CDOT and/or IDOT restoration requirements or standards
- Working knowledge of Maximo or similar work management systems.
- Previous years of supervisory experience.

Pay Range Minimum: $119,696.20
Pay Range Maximum: $194,506.26
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
