Job Summary
The Restoration Associate Field Coordinator is responsible and accountable for oversight and management of all restoration activities for a given zone including daily documentation and coordination of restoration repairs and scope. Provides oversight of contractor work associated with company operations, maintenance and construction. Coordinates with internal and external customers to resolve issues and complaints.
Job Responsibilities
- Identification and submission of restoration repairs, including managing updates to restoration work, using the associated systems/applications
- Fully document site conditions, scope of work, changes in scope, as well as completed work by taking and uploading photographs to the system of record
- Performs physical work including walking long distances to identify restoration openings and measurements, using tapelines, and measuring wheels
- Field verification of all completed work by contractors ensuring it meets PGL scope and requirements; and CDOT standards
- Work closely with Shop personnel and provide input as required for activities related to restoration and to address safety concerns
- Responsible for overseeing contractors: conduct audits, ensure safety and compliance with all related specifications
- Resolve complaints from external and internal customers by communicating verbally and in writing
- Utilize knowledge of gas operations, construction, and restoration processes to meet project timelines, safety objectives, and compliance with state and local regulations
- Attend various internal and external meetings to address citations and customer complaints, including meeting with CDOT Inspectors to address restoration concerns
- Responsible to uphold and maintain a project culture which creates high performance results in the areas of safe work environment, quality performance, and regulatory compliance
- Fosters and maintains positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to government, customer, regulator, contractor, and general public interests
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma, HSED, or GED
- 1+ years: Standard computer applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) to create pertinent documentation and supply information to relevant parties
- 1+ years: Staging projects, or assigning and completing tasks as part of a project team
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Knowledge of City of Chicago and Illinois Department of Transportation regulations and related restoration requirements
- Maximo, and PFIeld knowledge
- 1+ years gas operations/pipeline experience
- 1+ years of experience working and directing contractors
- 1+ years of experience in the Construction Industry
- Ability to read construction drawings
- 1+ years: Experience in interpreting and applying construction design specifications

Pay Range Minimum: $28.61
Pay Range Maximum: $42.92
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
