Engineer - Gas Operations
Minnesota Energy Resources Corp, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Engineer - Gas Operations in our Rosemount, Minnesota location.

Job Summary
The Engineer is responsible for engineering activities related to gas distribution and gas system design. Provides technical support to ensure the safe operation of the gas distribution system, and also provides technical support for other work groups for design requirements, material and equipment needs, construction activities and training. This position is in the Gas Operations Engineering group.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for the design, assignment of materials, and construction of gas distribution mains and services
- Support establishment of gas construction work packages for new and replacement projects including the specific design, permitting, material procurement, construction procedures, emergency action plans and forecasts for project costs
- Serve as the engineering liaison for field operations
- Travel to other work sites and be willing to be called in during off hours if a problem arises
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Valid driver’s license and meet the company’s requirements for driving
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in construction and field practices as well as design, operation, maintenance and repair of natural gas distribution facilities
- Experience and knowledge in project management, planning, financial budgeting and report writing

Pay Range Minimum: $68,436.68
Pay Range Maximum: $135,761.08
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
